A 51-year-old man has been jailed for 14 years for the grooming of two underage girls over several years.
Gary Fenn, 51, previously of Tockley Road, Burnham appeared at Reading Crown Court on Friday, September 22 after pleading guilty at the same court on Wednesday, September 20.

The offences which Fenn pleaded guilty to occurred between October 2018 and December 2020.
These included four counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity, 13 counts of causing a child to engage in penetrative sexual activity, one count of sexual communication with a child and one count of making indecent photographs of a child.

A man has been sentenced to prison after breaking into a home in Newbury.
Daniel Black, 45, of Westfield Road, Thatcham, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of burglary at Reading Crown Court on Monday, September 18.
At around 3.20pm on August 14, Black broke into an address in Pelican Lane and stole various items before leaving.

Black was arrested the same day and charged on August 15 following a Thames Valley Police investigation.

A MAN has received an extended 15-year jail sentence for ‘slashing’ a man in Reading after a judge deems him ‘dangerous’.
Ervis Kola, 34, of Brighton Road, was found guilty after a trial at Reading Crown Court of wounding Jetmir Noka in Butter Market on December 19 last year.
He has denied the offence, claiming he did not have a ‘weapon’ or anything similar in his hands at the time of incident.

However, a jury found him guilty of the incident and he was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, with a five-year extended licence, by Judge Emma Nott on Wednesday (September 6) at the same court.

A DRUG dealer has been jailed for 36 months after being caught with about £1,000 in street value of Class A drugs.
Derek Sarfo was caught on April 27 with cocaine and heroin and was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply after an address was searched by police.

The 24-year-old was also caught in breach of a suspended sentence he received for previous drug offences.
Judge Kirsty Real sentenced him at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (August 31).

“I’M deeply sorry for my wrongdoing,” said a young man caught with £250,000 worth of cocaine.
Hamzah Janjua, 25, was caught on March 31 this year in Belgrave Road, Slough with Class A drugs in the boot of his car.
In an attempt to flee from police, he crashed into a parked vehicle before officers arrested him.

Janjua, of Beamount Road, Slough, was subsequently charged with one count of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and one count of dangerous driving.
He pleaded guilty at Reading Crown Court about a month before he was due to stand trial.
Judge Neil Millard sentenced him to four years imprisonment (47 months) at the same court on Wednesday (September 27).

“HE ruined my life,” said a sexual assault victim as her childhood attacker is jailed for seven years.
Edward Price, 78, was found guilty after a trial at Reading Crown Court for the offences which are said to have occurred between 1991 and 1992 in Reading.
A jury found him guilty of two counts of indecent assault on a girl under 16.

Prince, of Millwey Avenue in Axminster, Devon, was acquitted of the other two charges which were of indecent assault on a girl under 14.
At the same court on Wednesday (September 6), he was jailed by Judge Emma Nott for seven years.

AN ‘inherently violent man’ has been jailed for attacking his sister after becoming angry over someone eating his cereal.
Michael Britt, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm which occurred on February 21 this year in Slough.
