Rendezvous with Creativity

The Read Library Project of the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) has organised an evening – Rendezvous with Creativity to encourage families to read, love books and pursue creative talents.

Highlight

The highlight of the event will be the presence and talk by the renowned celebrated author and columnist Amish Tripathi who is currently the Director of the Nehru Centre in London (Cultural wing of the Indian High Commission, UK).

Amish is also appointed as senior Diplomat as he holds the Minister for Culture and Education portfolio at the High Commission’s office.

Described as “India’s Tolkien” by BBC, Amish an IIM (Kolkata)-educated banker-turned-author who has a unique combination of crackling storytelling, religious symbolism and profound philosophies has turned him into an Indian publishing phenomenon.

His books have sold more than 6 million copies and have been translated into over 20 languages. His Shiva Trilogy is the fastest selling and his Ram Chandra Series the second fastest selling book series in Indian publishing history.

Children Participation:

Children are invited to present children with their original creative writing works and keep the audience engaged with a short skit. If your child would like to present please contact us at events@iahv.org.uk.

  • Book your family pass at the earliest to avoid disappointment as there are limited seats.
  • You can get your copy of Amish’s book if you have to get it autographed by him.
  • You can bring your old books and donate your collection to the Read Library Project.

The Read Library Project is about creation and promotion of libraries as Centres of Learning. The project has setup 150 libraries in India across 19 States in India. Aim of this IAHV project is to give underprivileged children access to quality books, to promote their reading and learning and to expand their knowledge
