The organisers said that Bones, a ‘witchy boho queen’ from Soho and a recent victor on the BBC’s hit show (crowned 27th November), is renowned for her distinctive gothic glamour, a style perfectly fitting for historic Windsor.
Steve Harris, Chairman of Windsor & Eton Pride, said: “From the second Bones walked out on episode one, I said they were going to win it.
“Securing the current Drag Race UK Winner for only our second-ever Pride event is simply unheard of.
“It shows we are serious and not messing about.
“Having Bones as our 2026 headliner demonstrates our commitment to making this event even bigger.”
Steve added that following inaugural event, which attracted just under 6,000 attendees to Alexandra Gardens and many more into the town, Windsor & Eton Pride received overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Further announcements for Pride included the plan for two stages, new ‘zones’ and site designer including a Speakers’ Corner hosted by Q-Hub Slough and the newly formed Q-Hub Windsor, plus a dedicated Kids & Sensory Area hosted by Autism Berkshire, Well Windsor, and Craft Coop.
There is also set to be an ‘extra DJ Dance Stage’ on top of the return of the karaoke lounge.
A bespoke Pride beer is being brewed by local breweries Indie Rabble and Two Flints.

Organisers added that planning is underway for the spectacular March to begin again on the Long Walk in front of Windsor Castle, processing through the town centre ahead of the festival running from midday until 10 pm.
The committee stated: “Windsor & Eton Pride remains absolutely committed to being a FREE EVENT, but with a cost of over £50,000 for the first year, next year’s expanded event will require even more support.”
It added that it is looking for sponsors, volunteers and high-quality traders.
Fundraising is underway with craft stalls planned for Windsor Baptist church on December 6 & Indie Rabble on the December 7.
Organisers will also be hosting a fundraising comedy night on February 14 in Windsor with details announced soon.
