TWO men accused of murdering a 35-year-old in Burnham have been told when they will face trial.
Daniel Hicks, 30 and of no fixed abode, and Martin Fleming, 20, of Bideford Spur, were charged with the murder of Beau Robinson following his death on Sunday, June 20.
Appearing at Reading Crown Court today for a preliminary hearing, Judge Heather Norton told the duo they will face trial next year.
The trial is due to start Monday, February 7 2022, and is expected to last four weeks.
Prosecutor Jane Davies said a brain examination and a toxicology report on the deceased is required to take place before the trial gets underway.
Addressing the defendants, Judge Norton said they will next appear in court for a hearing on October 15.

She said: “Between now and October there is work that both of you have to do with your representatives. By October 8 you have to provide a defence statement.
“That is an important document. That states what your defence is and why you are not guilty.”
Four other people who were arrested in connection with Mr Robinson’s death have been released under investigation.
