The results of the 2024 awards were released on July 30, with only the lucky few chosen as the best in the UK.
Every food and beverage is blind tested and if a judge believes the quality to be of high enough, they are rewarded either a 1-star, 2-star and 3-star.
Those that have received 3-stars went on to be judged in a further stage of the competition. The best of those 3-stars from each country or region has now been nominated for a Golden Fork, an ‘Oscar of the food and drink world’.
Only three Berkshire food and beverage companies were awarded a 3-star Great Taste Award including Mother Root’s delicious Ginger Switchel
