FOR MANY people this weekend, attentions have already turned to clear up efforts after the impact of Storm Eunice.
The strong winds on Friday left chaos in its wake with many roofs, trees, and fences destroyed right across the county.
Today, the Met Office has in place a yellow weather warning for wind.
In Berkshire, the weather warning is in place from midday on Sunday to 3pm on Monday.
MetOffice reports say: “Further periods of strong winds are expected across much of England and Wales on Sunday and Monday which may cause some disruption.”
In Reading, Sunday is expected to bring gusts of wind up to 49MPH along with heavy rain.
Bracknell will see gusts of wind up to 51MPH, and in Slough up to 49MPH expected around 6pm Sunday.
It warned of delays to road and rail transport, as well as delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes. As well as power outages.
Adding: “Some damage to infrastructure and trees/branches is possible, especially where made more vulnerable by Storm Eunice.”
